For sixteen years, Viru Folk has been offering audiences beautiful emotions, diverse Nordic music, exquisite nature, and the chance to dive into it all in the beautiful captains’ village of Käsmu. The theme for the seventeenth event is Year of the Alps and the festival will take place on 9–11 August 2024. Negotiations with musicians from Austria, Switzerland, and Germany will still take some time, but we can present a number of local performers with whom agreements have been reached.

METSATÖLL will rock out on stage with alpine influences, Tanel Ruben’s trio PÄRI PÄRI will give a concert with alphorns, and for the first time at the Viru Folk, we can listen to the ARSIS HANDBELL ENSEMBLE conducted by Aivar Mäe. The list of Estonian performers also includes RÜÜT, VANAVIISI, TUULELÕÕTSUTAJAD and many others. The grandiose closing concert of the festival on Sunday will feature NUBLU, Aigi Liiva with the singers of LAULUPESA, and CURLY STRINGS.

The festival passes of Viru Folk 2024 will be on sale at the best prices only until 31.12.2023!
